Listen to a guy who has NEVER watched WCW start his journey with Spring Stampede 1994. Did you guys know that Stone Cold wrestled Great Muta? I do now. And it was hilariously disappointing. This show had so many car crash moments and is such an interesting time capsule to look at, given the state of wrestling in 1994. Subscribe! The second ever show for ROH. Dragon. Daniels. Ki. Three awesome matches to see who the best in Ring of Honor is. Although there is no title yet, the journey is absolutely entertaining. That entertainment manifests through some great matches and some god awful wrestling as well. This show has it all. Subscribe! Who doesn’t love a good ol’ Attitude Era PPV review? I know I do. I have ZERO relocation of this show and that makes this episode all the more enjoyable; like watching it for the first time. And a very polarizing DJ Storms is here is join me. The Two Man Power Trip is running amok, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit have their third match of their awesome 2001 PPV trilogy, and Chyna loses her top in her match. What more could you ask for in wrestling? Check out the NEW ApronBump.com to subscribe on a...

Let’s listen to a dumb American discuss a UK-based wrestling promotion! In all serious though, PROGRESS is a promotion that I’ve loosely followed in the past, have heard amazing things, and now I’m diving in headfirst with Chapters 1-4. I'm looking forward to seeing the origins of wrestlers who are now major stars, and to see the stories unfold of characters that I never even knew about. This episode is designed to be a general overview. We discuss the origins of PROGRESS, the vibe, the aesthet...

Do you hate it when 8 guys (who are all fighting each other) hug together on the floor, just so someone else can jump on top of them? Me too. That's the type of stuff we get into in this episode. High flyers, powerhouses, heels, babyfaces....every type of wrestling has it's issues when it comes to psychology. Ultimately; the wrestlers shouldn't been insulting the fans' intelligence. And while pro wrestling may be, by nature, a little silly; that doesn't mean you can't have consistency in your na...

Overall, not a strong show, but an incredibly interesting time capsule to open. Bret and Owen had arguably one of the greatest matches of all-time, the first ever ladder match occurs, and Fink has hair. Through the good and the bad (and boy, there A LOT of bad), this show was an entertaining watch. And this is the first episode of the “Wrestling Wars of the 90s” series. Where we go back in time and review old WWF, WCW, and ECW in parallel; chronologically. Wrestling competition is a very relevan...

WWF is in the middle of 2001 and is really hitting on all cylinders. With Wrestlemania 17 in the rear view mirror, we get a look at heel Stone Cold, an amazing Ultimate Submission match, arguably the great Hardcore Match of all time, and the Duchess of Queensbury. For the first time in the history of this podcast, Hardest Part of the Ring is joined by a guest: Staple Gun. Backlash 2001 is a sleeper show in the history of wrestling, but top to bottom, it was one hell of a card. Don't forget to g...

Cookiegate, Macho Man, and one of the greatest matches in TNA history, would more could you ask for? At the surface, this may just seem like any other TNA PPV, but this turned out to be one of the most pivotal shows in the company's history; and show that forced them to change their whole model. The good was GOOD and the bad was BADDDDDDDD. But that all makes for an entertaining show. NWA World Tag Team Title Match Team Canada (Bobby Roode & Eric Young) (w/Scott D'Amore) vs. 3 Live Kru (BG Jame...

Boy oh boy, this is a topic than I know all of you can get behind. Commentary has always had it's quirks and it's downright detrimental qualities to it. From modern day, all the way back to when mics were first utilized in wrestling. Hate Micheal Cole? Hate Jerry Lawler? Frustrated with AEW's commentary? This one is for you.

A show that I believe exceeded everyone's expectations. THE GREATEST WRESTLING MATCH EVER. Was it? No. And here's why. PS: Panic at the Disco sucks

Overall, the best show so far of the Rona Era. Some very good rasslin but was hindered by a lackluster build and some directionless characters. We get into each match and discuss the future of these stars...some are promising.....some just seem like they're going to be Big Show 2.0. or be Natalya. And yes, I explain why those are the same thing in this episode.

Let's revisit ROH's first ever show....the journey begins. The year of 2002 was a strange time, both in wrestling and in the world in general; and that is very much exemplified here by ROH's inaugural event: An Era Of Honor Begins. Eddie Guerrero vs. Super Crazy, Bryan Danielson vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki....and some lighthearted homophobia fill out the show. But in all seriousness, ROH has always had a soft spot in my heart and I cannot wait to continue this journey in watching every ev...

Arguably the greatest Wrestlemania of all time, and not just because Bruce Prichard and Jim Cornette worked a match. This show had everything: Spectacle, technical wrestling, first-evers, car crashes, historic moments...and everything in between. Let's revisit one of the most pivotal shows of all time.

There's always going to be idiots. And Hardest Part of the Ring is always going to be here to put them in their place. In this weeks episode, we aim our frustration towards smarks; or "Smart Marks" or "Smart Wrestling Fans". Their label is ironic, because they truly are one of the dumbest breeds out there. Their inability to grasp the Edge/Orton storyline or why the Street Profits and Viking Raiders segments are great are all discussed in this episode.

CLIMB THE CORPORATE LADDER etc etc whatever. What a crazy, unique show. So much to get into. MITB Match was hilarious, Drew vs. Seth was great, Bayley is amazing, and Brother Love was.....there....for some reason.

Pet peeves in wrestling. There are too many for just one episode. So this week, we rip into the mind numbingly stupid concepts in regards to gimmick matches, build up to gimmick matches, and gimmick PPVs.

It's a new era in wrestling. TNA is out of the Asylum and into the Impact Zone with their FIRST EVER three hour PPV. They set the tone for a great run here at Victory Road 2004. TNA had some great aspects to it in this era....and some not so great aspects. But it's entertaining to get in the time machine and some of the results are fascinating.

Just wanted to get this subject out of the way lmao. Went longer than I expected, but there's so much to shit on Nia about, that it feels like you can just keep talking about it forever. I give my take on whether or not Nia is actually dangerous, the criteria for being dangerous in the ring, and I once again dismantle idiots on the internet.

Dear WWE diehards, AEW diehards, and dummies all over the internet, I'm here to take a dump on your lives. I've had it. Let's destroy some marks.

Let's take a look at a weird and crazy night; that exceeded all expectations

WWE has the opportunity to restructure how they do things and to improve their product after Wrestlemania. How? Let Hard tell ya.

The year of 2001 was a crazy great time for wrestling. Let's hop back on the Road to Wrestlemania in from back in the day and revisit No Way Out 2001 to review the entire show, and discuss why Stephanie McMahon vs. Trish Stratus was the greatest womens match of that era

Hardest Part of the Ring is back, to let us know why an empty arena Wrestlemania at the Performance Center could be a good thing. And why COVID-19 could be not the virus, but the antidote that WWE desperately needs.

Going back in time for this podcast as we review WWF Royal Rumble 2001. We break down the whole card, and go over why this is one of the best WWF PPVs of all time. Only thing that would have made it better is if Honky Tonk Man won the Rumble. Don't forget to follow/subscribe!
